MBO Groupe is an industrial services company with expertise in scaffolding, thermal insulation and confinement. It is also active in the nuclear sector where it provides maintenance services and works on large, complex new-build projects.

MBO Groupe generated around €85 million (US$91.1 million) in 2023 and has 15 sites in France and 500 employees.

It is the latest in a string of acquisitions at the wider Vinci group, after it completed its purchase of a majority shareholding in Edinburgh Airport and bought a 20% share in Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport in Hungary, both via its Vinci Airports arm last month.

Meanwhile, at the start of June, Vinci Construction acquired two companies in North America specialising in road works – Newport Construction based in New Hampshire in the US and Entreprises Marchand & Frères (EMF) in Canada.
