Sitting on the Wates Construction Board, Mosey will work alongside the senior team to drive the company’s focus on safety, quality, sustainability and operational performance forward.

Mosey joins Wates from UK-based engineering and construction company Laing O’Rourke, where he spent more than 16 years in a range of senior positions, most recently as head of procurement across Europe.

Wates says that his new role will blend Mosey’s previous experience across health and safety, procurement and project delivery to provide leadership to Wates’ operational teams.

“I’m thrilled to be joining Wates, with its strong heritage and a firm commitment to driving safety, sustainability, and quality in everything it does. I look forward to working with teams across Wates Construction to maintain this strong foundation and continually improve how we deliver for our customers,”  says George Mosey.
