The South Korean-based OEM has been operating in the European market for 30 years. It entered the market in 1995, setting up an assembly line in Geel, Belgium.

“Over the last 30 years Hyundai has become a leading player in the European construction equipment sector,” said Mr Maurizio Chiarotti, sales director of Hyundai Construction Equipment Europe.

“Our ambition is to be a top five player in the market and we are moving steadily toward that goal. With an expanded range of equipment, a strong network of dealer partners, dedicated support for national accounts, and a loyal customer community, we are building a solid foundation for success.”

Hyundai has launched a dozer, materials handler, skid steer and compact tracked loaders in Europe this year. The company’s European head office is in Tessenderlo-Ham in Belgium.
