Australian-based start-up, Matrak, which automates global construction project coordination and supply chain management, has announced that it has launched a UK office.
In a press release the company said it was a, “strategic move driven by the increasing number of large-scale projects we’ve supported across Europe, particularly in the UK.”
The company added that due to a significant rise in hospital developments and data center builds it was seeing more of its major suppliers to Australia now basing themselves in Europe.
Launched in 2018, Matrak started by streamlining international supply chains for large-scale Australian construction projects. Its collaborative platform connected manufacturers and project teams in real-time, eliminating manual workflows.
The company says that it is now supporting 700 active major construction projects, a 35% year-on-year increase, and has officially tracked more than US$15 billion in construction materials across its platform.
