Bobcat Company has expanded its construction equipment portfolio with the introduction of six new heavy-duty machines.

The latest additions—four large wheeled loaders and two large excavators—will be available at select Bobcat dealerships across North America starting in mid-Q2 2025.

The new lineup includes the L205, L235, L255 and L285 wheeled loaders, along with the E220 and E245 excavators.

According to Bobcat, the machines are designed to provide greater capability for large-scale construction and material handling applications.

“As a leader in the compact equipment industry, we are always looking to best serve our customers with product enhancements and new solutions to help them accomplish more,” said Brad Claus, Bobcat vice president of construction equipment.

“Offering complementary products, such as these heavy construction products, with even greater power and performance capabilities gives current and future Bobcat customers more options to address their toughest job sites.”

Each of the four new loaders is equipped for high-production lifting. The L205 features a bucket capacity of 2.5 cu yd, the L235 offers 3 cu yd, while both the L255 and L285 provide 3.5 cu yd.

To enhance versatility, the L235, L255 and L285 come with three selectable transmission modes—manual, auto 1-4, and auto 2-4—allowing operators to tailor machine performance to site conditions.

All four models are powered by a turbo-charged Tier 4 engine and offer three operating modes: power for demanding work, normal for everyday tasks, and economy for reduced fuel consumption.

The loaders also include a range of standard features aimed at operator comfort, such as an 8-inch touchscreen display, joystick controls, rear-view camera, Bluetooth connectivity, and a fully adjustable air suspension seat.

Meanwhile, the new E220 and E245 excavators build on Bobcat’s existing large excavator range. The E220 delivers a maximum digging depth of 21 feet, 7 inches, while the E245 reaches slightly deeper at 21 feet, 11 inches. Both models offer a bucket digging force of 35,464 lbf.

To match machine output to job requirements, the excavators include four selectable power modes—Power+, Power, Standard, and Economy—as well as Smart Power Control, which automatically adjusts engine RPM and hydraulic response based on workload.

The excavators are equipped with steel tracks and standard features such as a heated air-suspension seat, side- and rear-view cameras, LED work lights, and an 8-inch touch display.

Hydraulic quick coupler piping and 2-way auxiliary hydraulics are also included as standard, supporting a range of attachments.

The six new machines join Bobcat’s broader equipment offering, which includes compact loaders and excavators, and are backed by a 3-year/5,000-hour warranty.
