Cemvision uses Re-ment technology for the development of foundational slabs, replacing traditional Portland cement.

Recent testing conducted at materials testing firm Sandberg’s concrete laboratory showed a 28-day compressive strength reaching the C50/60 classification and a 75% CO₂ reduction compared to Portland cement.

The UK cement market consumes more than 15 million tonnes annually. The country’s ambitious climate goals create significant potential for more sustainable cement technology to become a critical component in reducing CO₂ emissions.

“The UK market is central to our growth, not only due to its scale but also for its fast-moving approach and progressive stance on sustainable construction,” says Oscar Hållén, CEO of Cemvision.

“We see an ideal environment for Re-ment to thrive here, offering an accessible and cost-efficient solution to industrial carbon challenges.”
