Trimble launches end-to-end asset lifecycle management software suite

Premium Content

Trimble has introduced a new software suite called Trimble Unity for asset lifecycle management. The suite allows owners of capital projects and public infrastructure to effectively plan, design, construct, operate, and maintain their assets through centralised data and connected digital workflows.

The company highlights that this approach helps owners optimise their processes, improve outcomes, and reduce the total cost of asset ownership.

By using this approach, adds Trimble, owners can make better decisions about asset rehabilitation and replacement, ensure reliable service delivery, and achieve regulatory compliance.

Trimble estimates that the asset lifecycle management approach can reduce the total cost of asset ownership by up to 40%.

“We’ve brought together the very best of our heritage solutions to provide our customers with even more value for their investment in the Trimble products and services they have trusted for years,” said Shelly Nooner, vice president of innovation and platform for Trimble’s Owner and Public Sector.

“By making relevant data accessible to stakeholders across the entire asset lifecycle, Trimble Unity helps owners and their collaborators make better-informed decisions at every phase.”

Trimble Unity can be accessed through a single-contract subscription called the Trimble Unity Asset Lifecycle Management Subscription.

Key components of the Trimble Unity suite, such as Trimble Unity Maintain, Trimble Unity Permit, and Trimble Connect, are currently available. Trimble Unity Field is expected to be available in August 2024. The capability known as e-Builder will transition to Trimble Unity Construct in a future release.
