New US company to streamline data centre construction development
28 July 2025
A new US-based company, Quantica Infrastructure, recently launched with plans to streamline the development of hyperscale and AI data centres builds across the country.

The firm bundles land, renewable energy, and fibre connectivity into a single developmental offering, which it said helps accelerate project delivery and reduce early-stage risk. Quantica is backed by funding from private equity firm EnCap Investments.
The company is targeting growing demand for large-scale data infrastructure in underserved markets. Its model focuses on locations where access to power and network capacity can be secured in parallel with land, allowing clients to avoid delays tied to permitting, grid connection, or fibre routing.
Quantica is led by John Chesser, who previously developed more than 15GW of energy projects and data centre campuses in over 20 US states. The team includes developers with backgrounds in power generation, telecom infrastructure and large-scale site delivery.
“Hyperscale and AI growth are demanding better solutions for power, land, and network connectivity,” said Chesser. “Quantica unlocks new opportunities by delivering shovel-ready, network-ready sites with dedicated renewable energy and resilient power supplies.”
The company has not disclosed the number or location of sites in its pipeline but said development is underway and aimed at supporting ‘large-scale cloud and AI clients’.
