The company is active on construction sites in Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria and neighboring Hesse.

Its expertise covers power distribution cabinets, cables, cable bridges and pipes, and adapting them to ongoing construction work. Bauhof’s customers are mainly medium-sized and large construction companies.

“The demand for our services in temporary infrastructure is steadily increasing in southern Germany”, said Christoph Afheldt, a member of the Zeppelin Rental management board

“The acquisition of Bauhof Service…offers us the opportunity for sustainable growth in a business area that is already being noticeably affected by the shortage of workers.”

Bauhof Service is now operating under the name Zeppelin Rental and its head office will become a competence centre for electrical services, energy and construction water supplies.

Timo Heitkamp, head of Energy, Air Conditioning and Water at Zeppelin Rental said Bauhof brought a great deal of know-how which it would now offer to existing and new customers in the Stuttgart region; “We are pleased with the acquisition and the opportunities it offers us.”

A statement on Bauhof’s website said customers’ known contacts at the business will remain; “Nothing will change in our services either – we are now offering them under the name Zeppelin Rental. We are currently working on the integration and the operational connection as well as the adaptation of our brand identity.

“Together with our new colleagues, we want and will continue to expand our previous success story in the coming months and years. We look forward to you continuing on this path with us.”
