The revenue from Vinci’s Construction division totalled €23.4 billion, up 9% on an actual basis and up 8% like-for-like, compared with 2022.

In France, which represents 44% of the group’s construction market, revenue stood at €10.3 billion, up 5% on an actual basis.

The company said that “activity remained strong in infrastructure”. In construction, Vinci Group says that it is driven by rehabilitation projects and the construction of public buildings, particularly in the hospital sector.

Revenue from outside of France totalled €13.1 billion, up 12% on an actual basis and up 14% like-for-like. According to Vinci, this development reflects the progress of work on several major civil engineering contracts in Europe, North America and Australia/New Zealand, as well as the solid activity of specialty networks and local networks.

Order intake for Vinci’s construction division is up 10% compared to the end of September 2022 with a 19% increase for the company’s energy division. The order book as of September 2023 across both divisions amounts to €48.3 billion with a 16% year-on-year increase for the energies division which saw an order intake of €14.7 billion.
