Avant Tecno Oy, a Finland-based manufacturer of compact loaders and attachments, has introduced two new loaders – Avant 855i and 845 – to complete its 800 series.

The 855i is a single-speed version of the existing 860i. The 845 is a single-speed version of the 850.

Both the 855i and 845 are powered by the new Poclain MSE05 single-speed drive motors (625cc), which make them significantly cheaper than their predecessors.

The 855i complies with the world’s strictest emissions standards (Stage V in the European Union and Tier 4 in North America) while the 845 is directed to markets with the EU’s Stage IIIA emissions standards.

They are ideal for use in construction and agriculture where heavy loads are handled but the driving distances are short.

The 855i is the company’s most powerful loader model as it lifts significantly more than the next largest single-speed model, the Avant 755.

The 855i has a maximum drive speed of 15 km/h and a pulling force on standard tires of 1570 kp. Both the 855i and 860i use the same Kohler KDI engine, pump package, electrical, and mechanical components.

The 845 has a maximum drive speed of 12 km/h. Both the 845 and 850 use the same Kubota V2403 engine, electrical and mechanical components.

Tuomas Färlin, Avant’s commercial product & sales manager, said the 855i is the “perfect choice for Avant users who demand strong lifting capacity and lifting height but don’t want to pay extra for speed if they don’t need it.”
