Terex Minerals Processing Systems has started to design and manufacture wheeled mobile crushers at its Hosur, India plant for distribution to Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and the Middle East, as well as India.

Jaideep Shekhar, executive director of materials processing India said, “The wheeled plants have been designed and manufactured at our Hosur facility for nearly two years now but we are excited at the opportunity that this range has now been expanded and we have the ability to export globally.”

The range comprises the WJ1175 jaw, WC1000 and WC1300 cone and WV2000 vertical shaft impact (VSI) crushers with high-stroke vibrating grizzly feeders and inclined screens. They are all-electric machines that can be used in a range of primary, secondary, territory and quaternary crushing applications.

The cone and VSI crushers feature a four-deck screen, allowing them to produce four sizes of product. The jaw crusher meanwhile features hydraulic closed side setting (CSS), while a standard feature of the cone crusher is Terex’s System 2-PLC programmable electronic control system.

All four of the models made in India feature removable wheel bogies for transportation
