The estonian town of paldiski is currently in the process of developing itsharbour facilities with a project intended to increase passenger travel to Sweden. The site of a former Soviet training centre for the crews of nuclear submarines, it covers almost 3 km2 and, once construction work is finished, will be the location for an industrial and office complex.
More than 20 buildings make up the demolition work required, with an estimated 100000 tonnes of demolition waste generated by their demolition, mainly consisting of steel reinforced concrete and brick. Levkorin & KA OU was brought on site to process this debris, and is using a Rubble Master RM80 tracked compact crusher to slowly work its way through the material on site, with the crusher being fed by an excavator and dozer
