Skanska USA is introducing Skanska Sidekick, a proprietary chatbot that employs artificial intelligence (AI). Its aim is said to revolutionise the delivery of solutions to users.

Skanska USA is introducing Skanska Sidekick, a proprietary chatbot that employs artificial intelligence (AI). Its aim is said to revolutionise the delivery of solutions to users.

Sidekick is an internal solution that streamlines the generation of AI content while also ensuring data protection says Skanska.

The chatbot is said to enable construction companies to utilise the knowledge of their entire organisation, as well as enabling teams to work more efficiently, make better decisions, and provide value-added services.

Although Sidekick uses the same underlying technology as ChatGPT, all data entered into these internal tools will remain secure within the Skanska Cloud, says the US-based company, safeguarding both proprietary company and customer information.
