Sherpa 100 ECO 2Speed Sherpa's mini skid steer range now includes the second-generation ECO 100 2Speed model (centre).

Netherlands-based manufacturer Sherpa has announced the launch of its new ECO 100 2Speed mini loader.

The fully electric stand-on machine weighs 0.8 tonnes and is fitted with non-marking solid tyres for use both indoors and outdoors.

Measuring just 76cm wide, the ECO 100 2Speed can be transported by a standard van and can fit through doorways and other tight spaces.

Daan Kling, sales executive at Sherpa mini loaders, said, “Our electrical loaders contribute a lot to a sustainable and efficient workplace, without doing any damage to the environment. They do not emit any harmful substances and are produced locally, with durable parts.”

As its name suggests, the second-generation machine offers two speed settings. While its fast speed setting allows it to cover longer distances at up to 8km/h (5mph), its slow speed provides more power when performing tasks and when moving in confined spaces.

In addition to standard applications, the Sherpa 100 ECO 2Speed’s wide range of attachments mean it can be used for lifting and carrying construction materials and for internal demolition tasks.

Attachments offered by Vermeer include buckets, grapples, grabs, clamps and pallet forks, as well a lifting arm, winch, earth drill, trencher and a hydraulic hammer.
