Scottish housebuilder Stewart Milne Group has entered administration and has ceased all construction work.
Administrators were appointed to the company, founded in 1975, yesterday (8 January), and are now set to contact all creditors, suppliers, subcontractors and plant hire/equipment providers.
The business, based in Aberdeen, has made over 200 employees redundant.
It has around 35 active sales sites around the country, with offices in the Scottish cities of Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen.
Teneo has been appointed administrator of several companies within the group, including: Stewart Milne Group Limited; Stewart Milne Homes North West England Limited; Stewart Milne Homes Central Scotland Limited; Stewart Milne (Arbroath) Limited; Stewart Milne Homes (Auchterarder) Limited; and Stewart Milne Homes (Kirkton) Limited.
