Murray & Roberts, South Africa's largest contractor, saw its revenues rise +61% to ZAR 17.9 billion (US$ 2.48 billion) in the financial year to the end of June. Operating profits doubled to ZAR 1.44 billion (US$ 200 million) for an operating margin of 8.0%-up from 6.5% in 2006. The company's order book stood at ZAR 22.5 billion (US$ 3.12 billion) at the end of the financial year-+125% higher than it was 12 months previously.
