>US Telehandler and Material handling equipment manufacturer pettibone is returning to the European market. The company will start with its specialist pipe-handling Cary-Lift machines but is also planning to CE mark its conventional telehandlers.

While the first available model in Europe will be the Cary-Lift 204, Dan Blondeau, marketing communications manager for the Michigan-based company, told CE it planned to CE mark its entire product line, including the Extendo (shown) and Traverse telehandlers. The company has hired a UK-based engineer to do this and is looking to appoint a European dealer soon. The timing for the launch of the entire range is unspecified, although the company is exhibiting at Bauma.

Both telehandler lines are rated from 2,7 to 4,5 tonne in capacity and have 10,8 to 16,8 m of maximum lift height.
