Perkins, a UK-based engine manufacturer, supplies power systems to the construction, agricultural and industrial sectors worldwide.

Trackunit, headquartered in Denmark, operates a digital marketplace and SaaS platform that connects construction equipment and provides real-time machine insights.

The new app provides real-time fault code insights and condition monitoring, allowing contractors, rental companies, and OEMs to identify and resolve engine issues more quickly. By consenting to share data, customers can access recommendations that support faster troubleshooting, higher first-time fix rates and improved workforce planning.

Perkins vice president of global sales, marketing, service and parts, Jaz Gill, said the collaboration would give owners, “better visibility into engine health” and help them avoid costly emergency repairs.

Trackunit CEO Søren Brogaard added that the integration would, “fuel the industry-wide battle against downtime” by enabling faster and more informed service decisions.

With the new app, service teams can generate detailed fault documentation, including parts requirements and areas for inspection to help improve maintenance planning and reduce delays.
