Obart Pumps launches ‘Fit & Flow accessories and fittings

UK pump distributor Obart Pumps has launched the Fit & Flow range of pump accessories and fittings for the rental and contracting markets.

Fit & Flow offers rental companies an accessories range to complement pumps in their fleets.

Fit & Flow comprises around 70 products including hoses, couplings and fittings for Obart Pumps’ submersible and puddle pumps, surface pumps, engine pumps, hand pumps and flood management products, which are used by national plant rental companies, independent rental customers, construction firms and contractors, water and utility companies and end users.

The Fit & Flow range is offered in 6m, 10m, 15m, 20m, 30m, 50m and 100m coils and accessories and fittings include hose tail, pressure pipe, washers, couplings, nipples, sockets, valves, strainers, clips and clamps. Products can be purchased individually, in packs or in kits.

Pete McMutrie, Sales Director of Obart Pumps, said the new range is for use with Obart’s pumps manufactured by Tsurumi, Honda, Speroni and APP, adding, “it made sense to launch a complementary range of hoses, couplings and fittings with a recognisable brand name that our customers could trust. Accessories can vary significantly in quality, and the high specification nature of the Fit & Flow range matches that of our pumps.”

Fit & Flow would make the process “as easy as possible” for customers to purchase pumps, hoses and accessories, he added, “so they have everything they need to hire out pumps in their fleet or carry out pumping work as required. It can be difficult to match couplings and hoses together, so we can offer expert advice as to the most suitable products for the application in hand.”

Obart Pumps is a national pump distributor based in Maidstone, Kent. The company was purchased by Tsurumi Europe GMBH last year and is now the UK subsidiary and sole supplier of Tsurumi in the UK. It offers Tsurumi single and three phase electric pumps, Tsurumi engine pumps and Honda engine pumps, as well as Speroni and APP products, both of which are exclusive to Obart in the UK.
