North American debut for Ausa’s electric dumper

Spanish equipment manufacturer Ausa has presented its entire product portfolio at ConExpo in Las Vegas, US, with its first zero-emission electric dumper making its North American debut.

First unveiled at Bauma 2023 in Munich, Germany, the D151AEG electric dumper has a load capacity of 1.5 tonnes (3,300lb). It is powered by 9.3kWh lithium-ion batteries that can be charged from 20% to 80% in just 2 hours via an integrated charger.

The electric dumper’s level skip capacity is 626 litres, with a heaped capacity standing at 900 litres. The model also features an articulated chassis and offers a maximum travel speed of 15km/h.

Ignasi Moner, Ausa Country Manager, said, “Our dumpers are providing to be very popular here in the US, and with demand for zero emission equipment growing, we think this is the perfect time to introduce this new model to the market.”

Key models on display include the mid-range 3.5-tonne (7,700lb) capacity D350AHG dumper and the larger DR601AHG reversible drive dumper, which is designed for road applications and for operating in tight spaces.

With a payload capacity of 6t (13,200lb), the DR601AHG dumper is an all-terrain model that features a swivel skip that also rotates the operator’s position. It is fitted with a 55.5kW diesel engine from Deutz that meets EU Stage V emissions standards and has a maximum travel speed of 25km/h.

Other Ausa products on show include the T235H telehandler and the C251H and C501H rough terrain forklifts. Ausa is located on ConExpo stand F9576 in the Festival Grounds.
