XCMG’s new mini excavator

Chinese manufacturer XCMG has released a 2-ton mini excavator for the European construction equipment market.

The new XE20E features a stage V compliant 11.8kw Kubota engine. Its key hydraulic parts are reported to adopt the latest technological achievements.

A spokesperson for XCMG said that this, “enables the machine to provide excellent performance while using the lowest possible amount of fuel.”

Due to a standard hydraulic retractable undercarriage, it can easily pass through narrow doorways or gates.

To adapt to narrow space excavation operations, its working device is designed to be deflected to the left and right by 75 and 60 degrees respectively.

Two standard standby pipes can meet using requirement of the multi-function attachment.

The excavator is equipped with a new ergonomically-designed armrest and joystick that XCMG says will improve the comfort of operators. The cab meets the safety requirements of TOPS/ROPS/OPG, which improves operator’s vision while ensuring the strength of the cab.

XCMG added that it had also strengthened the sections of boom and arm that bear heavy stress in order to extend the excavator’s service life.
