New CFO at Hochtief Solutions
25 November 2011
Hochtief Solutions has appointed a new CFO to replace Heiner Helbig, who stepped down at the end of October in in the wake of Spanish contractor Actividades de Construcción y Servicios's (ACS) hostile takeover of its parent company, German contractor Hochtief.
Former head of corporate controlling at Hochtief Wolfgang Homey replaced Mr Helbig as CFO of Hochtief Solutions on 23 November.
ACS gained a majority stake in Hochtief in June this year after a long and bitter battle that was opposed by Hochtief's management. Indeed, the Hochtief Solutions resignations come after a string of executives left the company, including CEO and executive board chairman Dr Herbert Lütkestratkötter, who announced his retirement in April.
Hochtief Solutions is a construction service provider offering development, planning and construction management together with facility, property and energy management.
Hochtief CEO Dr Frank Stieler said of Mr Homey's appointment, "At all corporate levels, Hochtief has many competent managers who have been demonstrating their power of performance over the years. We gladly give these employees the possibility to develop further."
