Multiquip has signed a deal with EZ Grout that will see the former become the exclusive distributor for EZ Grout equipment in the US and Mexico.

The deal means Multiquip dealers will be able to offer the full EZ Grout product line and all orders will be placed directly with Multiquip. EZ Grout will continue to provide dealers and end-users with its range of equipment and the warranties for this equipment exclusively through Multiquip.

"This new partnership will offer comprehensive masonry equipment solutions for the customers of both companies," said Mike Howlett, president of the general construction equipment division of Multiquip.

The announcement about the deal, which will come into full effect on 1 March 2009, was made by Damian Lang, CEO and president of EZ Grout and Mr Howlett at the World of Concrete show, Las Vegas, US, earlier this month, although final details about timeframes have only now emerged.

"We are excited about joining forces with EZ Grout and the synergy created by the partnership," said Mike Ferguson, vice president of sales at Multiquip. "EZ Grout is focussed on designing and manufacturing high quality masonry equipment and Multiquip is excited about the prospect of marketing these products."
