Portuguese contractors Mota-Engil and Conduril have shared the award of three packages of work on a roads project worth more than €100 million in Mozambique.

The deal will see the construction of rural roads in the Nampula and Zambezia provinces.

Mota-Engil, which is part-owned by China Communications Construction Company, has won one lot of the works, worth nearly €45 million to build roads in the province of Nampula in northern Mozambique.

Conduril has secured two more lots, both in Zambezia province in the central coastal region of the country, south-west of Nampula province.

The two lots are worth €39.4 million and €18.6 million respectively.
