Main contractor vilkograd has useda Grundodrill 13X HDD rig with Grundorock- Mudmotor to construct new electrical outlets at the Postojna cave complex visitor centre, Slovenia

Modernisation of the centre saw the cave’s electrical substation moved from inside the 27 km long cave complex to the outside. Due to the hard rock and awkward installation route, laying the two 30 m pipes used a Grundodrill 13X HDD rig fitted with a Grundorock-Mudmotor head to drill the initial pilot bore. This was followed by a 250 mm expander system before the ND 219 steel casings for the cables were inserted using a GrundoRam rig.
