Kubota UK has appointed Rob White as its new divisional manager for construction equipment the UK and Ireland.

Described as a “major” appointment, Kubota said White’s extensive knowledge and experience - which includes managing global product portfolios, business planning and operations management - would be of strategic benefit to its operations.

White, who is an international marketing graduate of Liverpool University, began his career at JCB as a product specialist for mini-excavators in 1996. Over the course of almost 25 years at JCB, he held a number of senior sales and marketing positions focused on the construction and groundcare industries.

Commenting on his appointment, White said, “I’m really pleased to be joining Kubota and heading up the Construction Division. The product range has a fantastic reputation for quality and reliability, and even though Kubota leads the mini-excavator market in the UK and Ireland, there is still a huge opportunity for further growth.”

“I am looking forward to working with my team, our customers, and the fantastic Kubota dealer network as we continue to deliver growth for mini-excavators, tracked dumpers and compact loaders.

White, who joins Kubota as it celebrates its 25th anniversary in the region’s mini-excavator industry, said, “There are exciting times ahead as we look to launch new technologies into the market, all of which will be focused on providing industry-specific solutions.”
