Kiloutou appointments to accelerate growth and sustainability

French equipment rental firm Kiloutou Group has announced the appointments of two executives and said they will advance its energy transition process and expansion.

Elie Hajjar, a member of Kiloutou’s executive committee, takes the role of group-wide director of equipment and sustainable development.will oversee fleet management and sustainable development policies.

The company said he will focus on enhancing equipment performance while minimising its environmental impact.

He will also lead initiatives in purchasing, maintenance, resale and equipment decarbonisation across all countries.

Before joining Kiloutou last year, Hajjar worked for Keolis, Transdev and DB Cargo.

Joining Hajjar on the Kiloutou executive team is Linda Vila , who been appointed sales director for France.

Vila, a member of Kiloutou’s French Management Committee, will co-lead the customer diversification strategy in the Industry and Services sectors.

Kiloutou said she will help accelerate business development and strengthen diversification within the company.

Before joining Kiloutou, she worked for Dell, Egencia, Edenred and Dekra.

Kiloutou said the appointments mark a key stage in its effort to promote a sharing economy that is “economically intelligent and sustainably useful.”

Founded in 1980, Kiloutou is now the third-largest generalist equipment rental company in Europe.

It has 564 branches with 6,500 team members, serving over 400,000 customers in France, Poland, Italy, Spain, Germany, and Denmark. It offers its customers over 1,000 product references and more than 265,000 pieces of equipment (excluding accessories) in four main product categories: earthmoving, access, utility vehicles and tools and light equipment.
