JLG names Russia and Belarus dealer

JLG Industries has appointed Technotrade as its official distributor in Russia and Belarus.

Established more than 10 years ago, Technotrade is part of the CAVAG group and provides equipment and services to customers in multiple industry sectors.

Due to the pandemic, the two companies signed the distribution contract in an online meeting. The deal will see Technotrade offer sales, marketing, training and after sales services for JLG’s full range of MEWPs.

Ian Hume, JLG sales director for the Middle-East, Africa, India and Russia, said, “We are very pleased Technotrade will assume the right to distribute JLG’s product and offer service for our product in the region.

“Through their presence and expertise, we intend to further grow JLG’s products in Russia and Belarus.”

In addition to supplying rental companies, Technotrade will also provide JLG platforms to end-user customers in the construction, manufacturing and logistics sectors.

Dmitriy Ochkinas, CEO of Technotrade said, “We have been working with Oshkosh [JLG’s parent company] for over 10 years with Airport ground support equipment and Waste collection equipment and pleased to add to our Oshkosh product portfolio also JLG mobile elevating work platforms for sales and service in Russia and Belarus.

“We are excited to become a member of the JLG family and ready to use all our infrastructure of the whole group of CAVAG to meet JLG customer’s needs. Our main focus with JLG would be organisation of high-quality after-sales service for JLG clients in Russia and Belarus.”
