Manufacturer Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe has launched its new range of rammers, vibratory plate compactors and rollers in Germany - the new range will be offered by nationwide distributor Kiesel.

Initially launched at the International Rental Exhibition 2014, the new range includes the ZV-R series of rammers, the ZV-P vibratory plate compactors, and the ZV-W walk-behind rollers.

Speaking during Bauma 2016, Joep van den Maagdenberg, product specialist at Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe, said, “We have seen a great reaction from the market since we launched our compaction range.

“We think the quality level of these new machines is very good - they are very robust. We are learning from the market too; we have been promoting sales of the compaction line equipment towards regional and local rental companies in France in the first instance, and they have proved very popular here.

“From here, we will move to the pan-European rental companies, but we know we need to establish a name for ourselves in compaction first.”

Taking place in Munich, Germany, from 11 to 17 April, Bauma is the largest construction equipment exhibition in the world.
