The booth will highlight five key thematic areas, focusing on forward-looking trends such as digitalisation, automation in tunnelling, and sustainable resource management.

Specialists from the Herrenknecht Group will also demonstrate solutions for both upstream and downstream processes at tunnel job sites. These include robot-supported segment production, smart transport vehicles, precise navigation systems, and efficient muck management.

Herrenknecht’s theme “Exploring the Green” invites visitors, customers, and partners to discover solutions across the five thematic areas and to meet with experts in person.

Herrenknecht says that it is developing automation solutions that enhance the safety and efficiency of mechanised tunnelling. At Bauma, the company will present innovations in the automation of segment handling, ring building, and the directional control of tunnel boring machines.

As well as this, Herrenknecht says that they are advancing the digital transformation in tunnelling through innovative software solutions.

The customer portal, Herrenknecht Connected, allows for the integration of data and processes, enhancing transparency and improving the efficiency of tunnelling projects in real-time. The company hopes that the digital transformation opens new opportunities for collaboration, in-depth data analysis, and effective project management.
