17 March 2008

Zaha Hadid has completed its conceptual master plan for Zorrozaurre in Bilbao, Spain.

The 60 ha river-side site is a former port and industrial zone, but under the plan it will have homes for 15000 people and offices space for 6000 built on it.

A canal that currently separates most of the Zorrozaurre spit of land from the rest of the city will be enlarged to create an island, which will sit in a key strategic position within the city.
