GIC-Italian Concrete Days show brought forward

Concrete equipment trade exhibition now set to run from April 28 to 30, 2022

The organisers of the GIC-Italian Concrete Days exhibition have announced new and earlier dates for the event in Piacenza, Italy, which will now take place between April 28 and 30, 2022.

The exhibition, which is dedicated to the concrete industry and its equipment, is effectively trading dates with Bauma Munich, which will now open its doors between October 24 and 30, 2022 – covering the previous dates of the GIC show.

The GIC organisers said they were confident that the accelerating Covid-19 vaccination rollout would allow time for exhibitors and visitors to prepare for the earlier show.

Fabio Potestà, Director of Mediapoint & Exhibitions, said he hoped industry operators, who will have been unable to present equipment and solutions directly to the market for some two years, would appreciate the decision.

“It will be an additional opportunity to take advantage of a more favourable season,” he said, “to ensure effective exposure of the machines and equipment that will be put on display in the wide outside area of the Piacenza exhibition centre”.

“We believe that bringing forward the next edition of GIC can also constitute a great opportunity for its international growth, making it an unmissable biennial event for the international operators in the concrete supply chain.”
