The combined power generation capacity of these projects amounts to 123.5MW.

In southern France’s Gard department, Eurowind proposes a 40MW wind farm in Cornillon, comprising 11 turbine generators.

In Germany, the company has been granted approval to construct a three-turbine wind farm with a capacity of 13.5MW.

The wind farm will be situated in Grossen Aspe, a municipality in the Segeberg district of Schleswig-Holstein.

Solar investment

Eurowind has also secured a final grid permit for a solar project in Romania, with a capacity of 70MW.

The total investment for construction of the project is estimated at €50 million.

The photovoltaic (PV) park will be located near Teius, in Alba County, and will consist of over 119,000 solar panels.

Construction is scheduled to start in October, with the project expected to be commissioned by 2024.

Once operational, the solar park will generate approximately 102GWh of electricity annually, enough to power over 30,000 local homes.
