The 19 countries that make up Euroconstruct

The next Euroconstruct conference, the 85th, will be held in Helsinki, Finland, on 7 and 8 June, 2018, organised this time by the Finnish member of Euroconstruct, Forecon.

The research and consulting group Euroconstruct was founded in 1975, and offers analysis of and forecasting for construction market trends in Europe. It has members representing 19 countries around Europe.

The main body of the conference will be held at the Finlandia Hall on Friday 8 June, and the keynote speaker will be Jyrki Katainen, vice president of the European Commission.

It will also include access to the latest macro-economic and construction projections to 2020. In addition to the 19 Euroconstruct countries, the Helsinki conference will offer wider coverage with reports covering the three Baltic States and Russia.

On Thursday 7 June, there will be a gala dinner and a visit to the site of the Helsinki Central Library, Oodi, which is under construction. It is being described as the world’s most modern library.

Euroconstruct has a network covering Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovak Republic, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.
