David Redhead to retire as BSP managing director

David Redhead will retire as managing director of piling equipment manufacturer BSP International Foundations at the end of June. He will take up a non-executive director position with parent company Tex Holdings Plc, and will assume the role of chairman of BSP.
“I am both delighted and honoured to be offered this very exciting position with a challenge that I am looking forward to,” said Mr Redhead in a statement.
Mr Redhead has worked for BSP for 42 years, 30 of which have been at Board level. He has been managing director of the company for the last 17 years. Richard Melton, currently BSP’s international sales and marketing director will take over as managing director on 1st July.
Mr Redhead is also a past president of the UK-based Construction Equipment association (CEA).
