Khillipi-Hagenbuch has introduced a new combination off-highway rear eject/rear dump bodies which are being used on an Ohio steel scrap facility.

A spokesman for the company said, “The 25.5 m3 rear eject/rear dump combination bodies mounted on Komatsu HD325-7 trucks deliver two industry firsts: the first rigid-frame truck rear eject body for off-highway trucks and the first rear eject/rear dump body, giving our end-users unequalled versatility.”

The spokesman added the combination rear eject/rear dump bodies could be customised to suit different heights and widths.

“When ejecting, the canopy which is integrated into the ejector blade moves towards the rear, ejecting the load while mechanically opening the tailgate at the same time. Switching between the rear eject to the end-dump mode takes just a few moments,” the spokesman said.
