Crusher milestone

25 April 2008

Metso Minerals’ stand at the exhibition will feature the 1000th crusher it has sold in China. The unit in question, a GP 100 cone crusher, will be handed over to its buyer, Tian Shui Xin Long Mining of Gangsu Province, during the course of the show.

The crusher was built at Metso’s factory in Tianjin, a 4000 m2 facility that is currently running at maximum capacity. Some 700 crushers - mostly cones - have been built at the facility since it opened in 2000. The factory and its 140 employees also produce jaw crushers and assembles wheel-mounted mobile crushers.
