Here is our lineup of the industry experts who will be speaking at this year’s Construction Technology Summit.

Todd Farmer

Product Manager of Construction Digital and Technology at Caterpillar

About

Todd is a product manager of the construction digital and technology (CD&T) product group, part of the autonomy and automation group at Caterpillar.

The CD&T business includes product, market and business strategies and execution that help establish Caterpillar as a leader in construction technology.

Todd has responsibility for all aspects of the CD&T business, including growing the adoption of scalable technology solutions that optimise and automate customer operations, enabling machine and parts sales.

In his presentation, Todd will focus on how technology is helping to enhance productivity, efficiency and safety for both operators and sites.

Kelley Brown

EPC Operations Manager of Renewable and Clean Power at Bechtel

About

In this role, Kelley is responsible for leading the customer engagement and business development strategy as well as overseeing and managing project execution and delivery performance in the North American solar, onshore wind and battery energy storage business.

Prior to this assignment, Kelley managed Bechtel’s first utility scale solar project in more than a decade, lead the company’s telecommunications and smart infrastructure business, and was the project manager for one of the largest and most recent fibre buildouts undertaken in the US.

Kelley’s presentation will explore how Bechtel is using digital delivery to aid engineering and construction at its solar projects in Texas.

John R. Somers

Vice President of the Construction and Utility Sector at the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM)

About

John is responsible for the strategic direction of construction and utility programs and services for AEM membership, and he will serve as the primary liaison to the AEM’s CE Sector Board and with CE-specific industry organizations, customer groups and government agencies, both in North America and worldwide.

At the summit, John will host a roundtable session, which will look at the need for a greater focus on the collection, analysis and utilisation of jobsite data
