An expanded footprint for the ConExpo show in Las Vegas, US, is planned, with the show including the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, located on the Las Vegas Strip adjacent to the Circus Circus Hotel.

The next edition of the construction equipment show will be in 2020.

Dana Wuesthoff, AEM (Association of Equipment Manufacturers) vice president of exhibitions and event services, and show director, said, “The Festival Grounds provides exhibit space and show services that our exhibitors and attendees will be very pleased with.”

Wuesthoff said that show planning committees were developing comprehensive plans to ensure connectivity between the Las Vegas Convention Center and the Las Vegas Festival Grounds to help attendees and exhibitors navigate all areas of the show easily, and to conduct business effectively.

The 2020 show connected campus will include new and expanded transportation, “attendee experiences” and registration locations. There will be multi-site drop off locations for shuttles, complimentary monorail passes, golf cart shuttles, and various experiential transportation options.

After a recent tour arranged for exhibitors, Shane Kroeker of K-Tec Earthmovers said, “It was a very interesting tour that we saw today, a great facility, definitely a unique atmosphere, which I think will lend really well to what ConExpo is doing these days.

“I think the Festival Grounds will fit nicely for the 2020 show. We always look forward to the next ConExpo – we’re always looking for solid customer interactions.”

ConExpo claims to be North America’s largest construction trade show representing asphalt, aggregates, concrete, earthmoving, lifting, mining, utilities and related industry segments.

The next show will take place on 10 to 14 March, 2020.
