Change of leadership at UK’s CEA association

Suneeta Johal, chief executive of the Construction Equipment Association has stepped down from her post, it has been announced. 

Johal joined the CEA three years ago from the from the Association of Independent Professionals & the Self-Employed (IPSE). 

The CEA said it will begin the search for a replacement immediately, with the board of directors and the broader team to take on responsibilty in the short-term.

At the same time, the association has confirmed that Viki Bell and Beth Abbott have been appointed as new business development & partnerships manager respectively.

In her new role, Bell will be tasked with identifying and cultivating new business and market opportunities, while Abbott will look to enhance the membership experience and communication strategies.

According to the CEA, both bring experience in not-for-profit and trade association marketing and business development and will “improve the CEA’s offering to its members.”

Both Abbott and Bell will be in attendance at the upcoming Members’ Forum in July.
