Developer Silvertown Quays Limited has released conceptual images of Venture Xtreme, a unique surf centre and extreme sports complex that will form part of its UK£ 1,5 billion (€ 2,08 billion) Silvertown Quays development in East

London's former dock areas. Complementing a large aquarium called 'Biota!“, the Baca Architects- designed surf centre will include a beach and a surf pool with “perfect waves all day every day”, according to the developer.

Construction of the Sir Terry Farrell- designed aquarium is due to start in September 2008 with completion in late 2010. Both the surf centre and Biota! are expected to open in 2011.
