Iceland-Based contractor heimir & thorgeir is using a 46 tonne JCB JS460 TO Construct a 1,5 km bypass round the town of Mosfellsbaer, 6 km north of the capital Reykjavik. The JS460 is working up to nine hours a day moving about 2200 m3 of earth per day. The project is due for completion in October this year.
