Bomag joins UN Global Compact, pledges sustainability commitment
12 September 2025
Construction machinery manufacturer Bomag has joined the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative.

Joining this initiative means that Bomag pledges to conduct its business responsibly in the areas of human rights, labour standards, environmental protection and anti-corruption, and commits to the transparent implementation of corresponding measures.
“In line with our self-image as a responsible company, joining the UN Global Compact is a consistent step,” says Dr Ingo Ettischer, CEO of the BOMAG Group.
“We see sustainability not as an option, but as a binding corporate responsibility – towards our employees, partners, customers and future generations. That’s why the ten principles of the UN Global Compact are actively integrated into our strategies and processes, and we will continue to consistently expand our commitment.”
Bomag has been part of the Fayat Group since 2004.
Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact is the world’s largest initiative for corporate sustainability, with over 20,000 participating companies in more than 160 countries and over 60 local networks.
