The Avant 225

The Avant 225

Avant Tecno now has a full line of multi-functional loaders available in the US, and has been showing them at ConExpo 2017 – the first time the Finnish-based company has exhibited at the show.

The North American team has been showcasing Avant’s 200, 400, 500, 600 and 700 series loaders along with various attachments for construction, demolition, landscaping and mining.

Avant has been in the North American market for five years.

The 200 series, new to North America, includes the 220 at 20 hp, and the 225 at 25 hp. There is also the 225 LPG, a low emission 25 hp machine with an LPG engine.

Avant said the LPG version was a lightweight machine suited for indoor and outdoor jobs.

It said its full range of machines used many attachments in a variety of configurations including concrete mixers, soil screening buckets, vibrating plate and brick paver installation clamp for construction projects.

For demolition jobs, the attachments include hydraulic breakers, cutter crusher, and an asphalt grinder.

Avant said its backhoes, trenchers and augers were ideal tools for digging applications within construction projects.

It added that attachments could be changed quickly with Avant’s own attachment coupler and hydraulic multi-connector.

The five model series are described as versatile machines with multiple cab options, and providing excellent lift to weight ratio, and offering low operating and maintenance costs.

Avant’s booth is at G1628.
