The Sweden-based company picked up the accolade after officials from the awards’ organiser, Deloitte, evaluated Steelwrist’s management abilities and practices, including its “strategic direction, operational capacity, corporate culture, and financial development”.

Founded by Deloitte in Canada in 1993, the Best Managed Companies award programme is now established in over 20 countries, and has been run in Sweden since 2018.

Stefan Stockhaus, Steelwrist CEO, said: “This award is again the result of the massive effort by the Steelwrist team around the world. We are now present in 19 countries but we still maintain our very specific Steelwrist culture within the company.

“We feel that we are extremely well positioned for the future and it is with great pride that we receive this gold level Best Managed Companies recognition.”

With its fourth consecutive prize, Steelwrist is now recognised as gold member company within the awards programme.

Therese Kjellberg, partner at Deloitte and responsible for Best Managed Companies in Sweden, said: “This year, we welcome five companies as gold members after receiving the award four years in a row. It’s inspiring to see so many companies continue to invest and strive towards their goals.”

Sweden’s 2023 Best Managed Companies awards recognised a total of 20 private companies from a range of business sectors, including construction industry manufacturers, logistics, technology, e-commerce and recruitment.
