Al Futtaim Carillion is currently working on a five-star hotel project in Abu Dhabi, due for completion in 2015

Al Futtaim Carillion, the UK contractor’s joint venture in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has won a UK£ 130 million (US$ 198 million) contract to design and build a luxury Hotel on Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi’s new Central Business District.

The contract, awarded by government-owned Mubadala Development Company (MDC), is for a five-star hotel, which will be 144 m high and have a floor area of 100,000 m2. Work has already started and is scheduled for completion by the end of 2015.
