Following last week’s announcement from Caterpiller of its latest trial, in partnership with toy manufacturer Hot Wheels, we bring you the best of the OEM’s products and services showcased in previous trials…

Caterpillar’s trial videos are a series of videos that show various Caterpillar construction equipment performing a variety of different tasks. The first trial video appeared in 2014. Following on from the latest Hot Wheels trial, we look at the best of the rest.

Sand castle

Watch Cat equipment construct the world’s tallest sand castle in this edition of the trials.

China shop

China Shop features a heavy equipment operator maneuvering his Cat 301.7 CR Mini Excavator with poise and precision through a crowded shop stocked with over US$40,000 in delicate merchandise.

Driving range

Watch two golf pros tackle a course made entirely of moving heavy equipment in this trial. 

Stack

The Stack challenge pitted five heavy equipment operators against a mountain of massive wood JENGA® blocks weighing over 8 tons in total.

Pac man
To mark its 95th year Caterpillar launched it’s ninth trial, alongside the makers of the iconic computer game Pac Man.
