Austrian construction company Strabag has won a €250 million (US$269.6 million) deal to build a residential development in Abu Dhabi.

The firm’s Zublin Construction business has secured a contract to build the Sea La Vie project on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, on behalf of developer Nine Yards Real Estate Development.

The complex comprises four towers with 16 to 18 floors as well as 30 townhouses to be constructed on a two-storey podium.

Work on the 30,000 sq m site also includes the construction of a three-storey car park with 1,018 parking spaces. There will be a total of 668 apartments, maisonettes and lofts with balconies and access to private sports facilities, a playground and an infinity pool.

Construction has already started and is due for completion in the second quarter of 2027.
