The new dealer – Tractogermana – is said to have extensive experience in the heavy machinery segment and a well-established presence in several regions of the country.

Headquartered in Bogotá and with branches in strategic cities such as Yopal, Cereté, and San Marcos, Tractogermana offers nationwide coverage with technical support, spare parts and after-sales service through a broad network of sub-dealers.

The distributor will commercialise the entire range of Link-Belt excavators, as well as spare parts and accessories.

“We believe in the potential of the Link-Belt brand in Colombia, and we want to add value to our current and future customers. Our focus will be providing a closer service, tailor-made solutions, and a differentiated after-sales experience,” said Rafael Carvajal Roldan, Tractogermana’s general manager.

The OEM – which is a subsidary of the Japanese conglomerate, Sumitomo Heavy Industries – said that the move reinforces its commitment to the Latin American market

“We are focused on strengthening the recognition of the Link-Belt brand in Latin America, expanding our presence and getting more and more close to dealers and final customers,” added Matheus Fernandes, general director of Link-Belt in Brazil and Latin America.
